Born in Malta, Stefan is an alternative pop singer-songwriter known for his theatrical edge and Mediterranean-influenced sound. He trained at Masquerade Arts School and in pop vocals under Trinity College of Music, making his first major splash in the 2009 Malta Junior Eurovision finals. He later performed for over ten thousand students as a junior support act at Ira Losco’s anti-bullying concert and appeared with rock band Texanna at the Farsons Festival. Stefan debuted at MESC in 2016 and went on to compete in The X Factor Malta, receiving a unanimous “yes” from all four judges. His single Escape entered 89.7 Bay’s Malta’s Top 10, while Untrue (2021) marked a shift toward a more abstract and artistic style that continued with Heartbreaker at MESC 2023. After collaborating with acclaimed Eurovision songwriters, Stefan returned to the national final in 2025 with Lablab (Talk Talk), signalling a bold new era in his musical journey.
