Chess Galea is a Maltese singer, songwriter, artist and model whose music has enjoyed regular play on BBC Radio and international stations. She has worked as a backing vocalist on Jack Savoretti’s UK No. 1 album Europiana and wrote lyrics and recorded vocals for the Nintendo Switch game Bayonetta 3, including the theme Al Fine and Moonlight Serenade, from a game that won “Best Action Game” of 2022. In 2023 she penned ‘Candy’ for K-pop group Apink’s album ‘SELF’. Chess has performed her original music at the UK House of Commons for the Women in Music series and tours Europe with The Australian Pink Floyd Show, as well as the live orchestra production of The Lord of the Rings. A passionate advocate for feminism, equality and mental health, she founded the charity The Kintsugi Way in 2025 and is also an accomplished vocal coach with students appearing on The Voice and in Barbie, The Movie.
